Opportunities for Wind Players

Who are we?

There are currently around 30 members of Bicester Concert Band, including woodwind and brass players, a percussion player and an electric bass player.

Where are we?

The Band practice at St Edburg’s Church Hall, Bicester (Near the Library) every Tuesday Night. We start at 7.45pm and finish about 9.15pm. A map is available here.

How much?

Subscription Fees are £30 a term (£20 concessions)

What do we do?

We regularly play in public – in the Garth Park during the summer months, on Remembrance Sunday, and at the ceremony in Bicester for the turning on of the Christmas lights.

We also play at local fetes and arrange our own concerts.

Rusty or learning?

No excuses. We are a friendly group that welcomes musicians of all abilities. Under the direction of our talented conductor we continue to go from strength to strength.
